TWINS WITH DIFFERENT FATHERS

This might sound very strange yet it is very true, a case like this is very rare, as a matter of fact this would be the first time i would come across this or have you ever heard of a set of twins having two different fathers? Now tell me if that aint bizarre?

This is the story of a woman who stays in New Jersey, filing for child support for her twin girls only to discover that the twin girls were fathered by different men, not the kind of news you would expect to hear right? She discovered this when a DNA test was done by the man she had originally thought was the father of the twins and that was how she discovered that her daughters whom she had given birth to in 2013 had different fathers.

To ascertain how this could have been possible, I did a little research and I found out that truly this can be possible, though it is a very atypical scenario. My finding was that if a woman should have sexual intercourse with two men within one menstrual cycle, two eggs can be fertilized by those men.

During the court case it was said that the woman later revealed that she slept with two different men within the space of one week, the judge ruled that the man that the initial child support was filed against should only pay for his own daughter.
