MANAGE YOUR STRESS AND INCREASE YOUR ENERGY



Research has it that today’s people are more stressed out than ever due to the large scale activities they engage themselves in. From managing their social life, to keeping up with school or work, to maintaining a good relationship with spouses, their life you would say can be extremely overwhelming and not knowing how to balance everything can be extremely terrible.
For someone like me I feel so comfortable just making it through my day to day activities but within me I also feel that my full potential is not reached. I feel so completely drained at the end of the day, and all I want to do is to sleep.
All that stress has now been taken care of by just adjusting and improving my lifestyle,  you can get organized, lessen your stress and still boost your energy, all you have to do is to follow this steps.
1.     Eat Some Chocolate
Many are scared of eating Chocolate because they feel it junk and junks makes them fat but trust me people this junks does more good than harm. Cocoa is part of the ingredient used to produce chocolate and in cocoa there are actually flavonoids found in it that has been proven to boost cognitive skills and improve overall mood.
2.     Take A Walk
Most times when we have lunch break at work the two major things we do is to eat and gossip then we hurry back to work. The lunch break is a good opportunity to reduce the stress we might have been going through and gain some energy back, during the lunch break, take a quick 20 minutes (at least, depend on the duration of the break) stroll outside the office. The Fresh air outside would improve your mood and increases your energy.

3.     ​Don’t Skip Meals
Considering the fact that most of the workers wakes up around 5am, having their breakfast shouldn’t be an issue but you would be surprise that with this early wake they still skip their meal. In Nigeria we have a meal system and it varies depending on your class or societal status, most early riser have a of system of 0-1-1 and 1-0-1, which implies that if they miss the morning meal they will make up for it in the afternoon and night, and if they take their breakfast then they won’t have time to take lunch,they would have to settle for diner. It is important to note that the bodies start to shut down if they don’t receive the nutrition that they need. Healthy eating structure improves your cognitive function
4.     Go Sugar-Free
We all know that too much sugar is not profitable to our body and with that I would advise you to drink sugar-free beverages as often as possible, this would also help in lessen your stress and boosting your energy.
5.     Laugh
Laughter is the best medicine and research has shown that, it is a very good way of reducing stress and staying healthier, but studies also suggest that laughing can also increase our energy levels. So people let the laughter begins and let those stress be freed
