#BABA HAFUSA

Ever since I started listening to rap albums, there have been very few rappers that have really impressed me over time.
When I say impress me, I am speaking in terms of the quality of their albums because I don't judge or rate a rapper with just one or two albums.

Definitely they would put all they have got into their first album and mostly the second album will enjoy the success of the first album but when it comes to the third album, this is when they have to define who they really are and most times they tend not to live up to expectation, they might be having top charting singles but the album as a whole might just be a failed project. Very few rappers have been able to show us that they get better with every new album they drop and I would say Reminisce just became part of them.

From BOOK OF RAP STORY to ALAGAIBILE now to #BABA HAFUSA, Reminisce has not only proved that he is one of the best rapper of our generation, he has also showed us that every album he drops would be a hit without depending on the success of the previous album. I give much respect to rappers who aint afraid and always ready to move out of their comfort zone by experimenting with new sound and that was exactly what Reminisce did with #BABA HAFUSA. He kicked started the album with GRIND which feature label mate SOJAY, the 2:52 song prepared us for what we where to expect in the album. Reminisce reminded us that he is still the Alaga Ibile with the track BABA HAFUSA and from that track onward the album began proper has Reminisce began to show how versatile he can become with his singing skills.
Overall I would rate the album a8 over 10 and I would select SKILASHII, I NEED A GIRL AND BUSAYO as my own three favourite’s tracks.
